I took an interior design course for which I chose a tea room as my project. Tea in its diversity, but also in the preparation process, can be a healthier and more relaxing substitute for that category of people who need more calm and relaxation in their lives.

Because drinking coffee has become very common, and cafes are quite numerous, the tea-house brings diversity to the daily activity of enjoying a hot and aromatic drink.

when I started thinking about this space, I had in mind first of all the idea of comfort, relaxation and calm. Second, the idea of functionality and optimization. And most importantly, the creation of a flexible space that can be easily transformed and can encompass a diverse series of activities.

Another important aspect I thought about was the clientele. The people who will come to this place are the category of people who can work here and need a relaxing and comfortable space where they can concentrate.

The second half of this space in just for relaxation. The floor transforms, rises, lowers thus creating spaces in a minimalistic look with furniture very close to the floor level.

The colors used are neutral, they are not intended to attract your attention or induce certain states. This space, through its natural, warm and colors, lets you seek your own state of mind, to get out of the daily routine of life and create your own balance.
